Well, it's St. Patty's Day and no green beer for me. I did, however, manage to wear two different St. Patrick's Day-oriented shirts today...great success! There are quite a few things to be excited about on the homefront.
1.) I had a Dark Cherry Mocha from Starbucks. This is probably the reason that it's 10:20pm and I am WIRED. It was pure deliciousness and the only one I will ever have in my life given that I think it had about 60 grams of sugar in it.
2.) I have plenty of calls to make tomorrow since I will actually have some time to talk to each of the representatives of the Sales Departments of the hotels we visited last weekend.
3.) The thing I am the MOST excited about - and yes, I remember giving up looking at our registry for Lent, but if Bryan was permitted by God to have a Guinness today, I was allowed to look at our registry! - is that someone purchased our everyday dinnerware from Macy's!!! I am outrageously stoked about this. Our placemats were purchased off our BBB registry awhile ago (I'm guessing pre-Lent, but I may have slipped up one other time...shhh...). And I can just visualize the combination of the placemats, everyday dinnerware, the flatware...oh my!!!
(A side note: Bryan actually didn't cave and have a Guinness, he went to the gym instead. What a guy!)
Bryan also mentioned to me today that out friends Thi and Ken are having their bachelor/bachelorette parties in Las Vegas in June. He asked me if we should go and simply try to win money to pay for the trip (I am well aware that this would NEVER happen and upon trying, we would easily lose all the money saved for our wedding). It brought up the point though that I might be the weirdest (and possibly, least fun) girl ever to have at a bachelorette party ever. Why? Because the weekend Bryan told me this bachelor/bachelorette weekend would take place, there's a Ladies No-Limit Hold'Em Championship event (translation: poker, for those of you who don't have gambling problems like I do). I actually looked it up. What is wrong with me?!
Speaking of gambling problems, I have to fill out my March Madness tournament brackets. But I hope you enjoyed the (somewhat abbreviated) random midweek blog! More to come this weekend!
